CISR Insuring Personal Residential Property

The CISR Personal Residential course helps you develop the expertise to guide your customers through the often complex and confusing process of purchasing homeowners insurance.  More importantly, you will be able to provide practical information that will help clients make decisions for protecting their most valuable assets and their financial future in the event of a loss.

*This course is a hybrid course.  During the registration process, please select how you wish to attend this course, either virtually or in-person. If you wish to attend in person, the class will be held in the IIANC classroom in Cary, NC.  *Virtual Attendees will receive an email ONE business day prior to the class.  This email will contain the links you will need to access your course and course materials.

CE Credit: 7 Hours

Registration: 7:30 am - 8:00 am
Class Time: 8:00 am - 3:45 pm
Optional Exam Review: 3:45 pm - 4:15 pm
Exam: The CISR exam window will begin at 4:15 PM the day of the class through Thursday at 11:59 PM CST the week following the class. * All CISR course exams will be online.  Participants will be able to access the online exam through the learning portal in their PROfile page. 

Course Materials:  If you are an online attendee, your course materials will be sent to you via email along with the links to join the webinar.  The notebook will also be available in your Learning Portal 2-3 days prior to class. Notebooks will be provided the day of class to in-person attendees.

The instructor/onsite coordinator will stay and proctor for those who attend a CISR in-person classroom course and would like to take the online exam on the day of the class.  The equipment for taking the exam will NOT be provided to the participants.  Those who would like to stay and take the exam will need to bring their own electronic devices.
